In a nutshell, no. Ok, article over. *wink*
Well, not quite...here's a few details:
Search engines -for years- have frowned upon FFA networks and may never send you traffic, if you are a member in a known FFA network
It amazes me how much mis-information is spread about FFA's and how many new marketers think it is "OK" to use them -as long as they are relevant. It is never ok to use an FFA of any kind. They may work short-term, but each one will crash and burn eventually.
Even if you do it just for the traffic and do not care if you get banned, the traffic is such low quality that it will most likely never, ever turn in to a sale. This is because of the low quality of sites that are typically part of a network. Think about it. No 100% professional web site would ever be seen on an FFA network, so why should you be?
In short, FFA networks will send you worthless traffic and will most likely keep you from ever receiving quality search engine traffic on top of that. It's just not worth it.
There is, however, an exception to this rule. If your site caters to children that are bored surfing the web and / or caters to webmasters with no marketing budget; then this type of traffic will be good to boost your bragging rights of how many visitors you get. Beyond that, there isn't much else.
